Hotel Lobby Design

Designed in 2019

The hotel lobby concept is a medieval steampunk design that combined traditional wood culture and metallic elements—using gadgets like gears and pipes to create the vibe of steampunk, inserting these things into standard items like chairs, tables, and trolleys. On the other hand, using wood as the primary material can bring a medieval look to the whole environment.

The fountain is the main object in the scene. Therefore materials like marble and gold are used to exaggerate the importance. For the lighting in the lobby, I referenced the lights in submarines to bring out a sense of mystery in the scene.

The hotel lobby design is referenced from several movies like John Wick (2019), Diner (2019), and Shining (1980). These movies help me structure the interior of my hotel lobby, also some details of the items and objects in it.
