Dementia describes a collection of symptoms that are caused by disorders affecting the brain. Normally it will come with symptoms like memory loss, speaking skills, thoughts, behaviour and the ability to perform everyday tasks. Because of that people who taking care of them will face many problems, so I designed AAI-01 to relieve their stress.

Based on uncanny valley, I designed this humanoid robot AAI-01. It can help patients finish their daily tasks which prevent different accidents that may happen. There are also different functions embedded in the robot in order to facilitate the medication process from doctors as well.

Healthcare professionals should then focus more on emotional support, communicate with them and understand the difficulty of the patient.
